Complex and Cosmetic Restorations

Restorative dentistry is used to help maintain most or all of your natural teeth and maintain full function of your mouth. Some procedures are also cosmetic, as they help you smile with confidence knowing your teeth look great. Here are just some restorations that we offer:

Implants

are permanent fixtures that are used to replace missing teeth and are designed to permanently hold a crown in place when no tooth is left to do so. They are the closest thing we have with current technology to giving you a new tooth.

Inlays and Onlays

are used to cover back teeth or molars as an alternative to large fillings. They provide a stronger, better fitting and more durable solution than large fillings. They are also made from ceramic so are made to match the colour of your tooth.

Crowns

are used when either veneers or onlays aren’t suitable, on teeth with cracks or after a root canal treatment. They cover the entire tooth like a helmet to provide the most protection. Again they can be made from ceramic to match or improve the colour of your teeth.

Partial Dentures or Bridges

are used to replace missing teeth. Partial dentures look like real teeth, but are a dental prosthesis, which clips onto other teeth. They are designed to be taken in and out by the patients for cleaning. Some patients prefer a bridge as it is fixed to the teeth on either side and therefore feels and works more like a natural tooth.
