Selena’s Smile Makeover in Mackay

We would like to share with you one of our patient’s smile makeovers in Mackay.

Selena, an accountant from Eimeo, is a stunning and busy woman who wanted to feel confident when smiling. The most urgent problem was that her front tooth had snapped off at the gum line, and she was concerned with how her teeth looked when smiling.

She wanted to feel more confident when talking to other people, especially at work. So, she asked family and friends to refer to her a reputable and trustworthy practice in Eimeo. Fortunately, her friend, a loyal patient of Plaza Dental, referred us to her.

For her smile makeover, we did a composite build-up with a post to provide long term temporary restoration of the front tooth to allow proper planning. Afterwards, we did a Digital Smile Design to plan her treatments accurately and set her expected outcome. With Digital Smile Design, she was able to be hands-on with the planning of her treatment and how her smile would look like afterwards.

During the planning stages, one of her front teeth broke and was unable to be repaired. Tooth extractions and temporary bridges were provided so she could smile and eat while waiting for the final restorations. Dental implants were also provided to replace her missing teeth. Lastly, crowns and implant crowns were provided to finish her treatment.

The Result

After ten visits over twelve months, she was so happy with the results. The process was prolonged due to her busy work and life schedules. But she was pleased that we provided high-quality temporary bridges and crowns, so it didn’t affect her self-esteem while at work.

She loves how presentable her smile looks now after all the treatments were done. Aside from an improved appearance, she can’t contain her happiness knowing her front tooth is strong and that she won’t have to think twice before eating something hard.
